Mother of 22 Aims to Expand Large Family Beyond 100 Children

A 26-year-old mother who has welcomed 22 biological children through surrogacy aspires to expand her family to potentially 100 children. While many find managing a single child challenging, Kristina Ozturk has redefined parental dedication.

Ozturk, originally from Georgia, shares her extensive family with millionaire businessman Galip Ozturk. The couple has invested significantly in nannies to support their large household, with most children being Kristina’s biological offspring through surrogacy.

Between March 2020 and July 2021, they spent $180,000 on surrogacy, resulting in a diverse family of 22 children: Victoria, Mustafa, Maryam, Ayrin, Alice, Hassan, Judy, Harper, Teresa, Hussein, Anna, Isabella, Ismail, Mehmet, Ahmet, Ali, Kristina, Alena, Sarah, Lockman, Alparslan, and Olivia. Remarkably, 20 of these children were born within just over a year.

In a 2021 interview, Kristina revealed her lifelong dream of a large family. “My husband shared this vision,” she explained. “Our relationship and entire life have transformed. Our surrogacy clinic is amazed but supportive of our dream. We may not become the world’s largest family, but we aim to be the happiest.”

Despite employing nannies, Ozturk emphasizes her hands-on parenting approach. “The only difference is the quantity of children,” she noted. “Each day varies from managing staff schedules to family shopping. I can assure you, my days are never monotonous.”

While 22 children might seem overwhelming, the couple has discussed potentially expanding to over 100 children. However, their plans have been complicated by Galip’s 2023 eight-year prison sentence for illegal drug possession.
